Meet our Teachers
Meet Siobhan
Hi! I’m the Lead PreK-Teacher and Educational Administrator of Roots Learning Center. I graduated from Frostburg State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education in 2010 and went on to complete a Master’s Degree in Special Education in 2014.
I have been teaching for 15 years in a variety of settings including the public school system, my own private preschool, being the director of a Montessori school and a variety of other community programs involving children.
I have experience with children of all educational levels and special needs and truly believe in meeting each child’s individual educational and emotional needs. My most important experience, however, comes from raising and loving my own three amazing children.
MEET ERIN
Hi! I am Erin and I am certified with MSDE as a Lead Teacher for Infant, Preschool and School Age students. I am in my 4th year at Frostburg State University working on a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education.
I have always known that I want to work with children. My mother had a family daycare when I was younger and I loved to help out. I have worked for a few years as a nanny and worked for two years at another childcare center before I moved to Frostburg. I have worked at Roots Learning Center since 2022. I enjoy helping create a safe and healthy learning environment for our students.
MEET JENNI
Hi, my name is Jenni! I work for a digital marketing company and I have four kids from ages 4-15. I also help as an aide and substitute at Roots Learning Center. I have experience as a home daycare owner and I am active in the community, from being a FIRST Lego League coach to helping with kids ages 3-11 at Church.
